Evaluation of geological hazard of the subway (case study: Ahvaz subway, southwest of Iran)

Like other large-scale development projects, the design, construction, and utilization of subway projects have several positive negative environmental consequences. In this study, geological hazards in construction phase Ahvaz Subway Line 1identified localized. The impacts also were assessed surface subsurface sections. During evaluation, after providing preparing required information layers, AHP TOPSIS methods used to model effects route. subsidence, liquefaction, soil corrosion, RQD characteristics examined separately a vertical section. results showed that Stations 1, 2, 11, 12 had most significant potential for at Assessing conditions due type alluvial material lithology water table, subsidence was possible Due region's seismic conditions, stresses can cause displacement tunnel collapse along route, especially during phase. chemical test soils route moderate severe corrosion potential.
